Brian/BK seems to have a heart of gold. He sounds super sweet, modest yet confident, and fairly self-aware for a 14 year old. I too am lost on what it means to play an instagram ORG though.
Ricky sounds like a ray of sunshine though, huh? If he could back up his talk, he at least sounds interesting to watch. I'm not super thrilled in such a small cast that his toadie Gabe could be right there with him. Maybe it's unfair to paint their relationship that way knowing nothing about them, but Gabe's answers just give me such a Grover Dill vibe to Ricky's Scott Farkus. Between the two, Ricky's application does a much better job of showing who he is and the effort he could put forth.

Ricky is one of those guys who can get himself in an amazing spot and then kinda implode ala Amanda BB15. He won't win iSurv1vor, but he's definitely somebody you'd remember.

So far I am completely sold on Brian "BK" Kendrik and Ricky HoeGuard. They are polar opposites and I love what I hope they will bring to the season. Craig is above average, but John is vouching strongly for him and we all know how great John was, so why not? The other two... meh...

I would say cast the hell out of this guy, but I don't know if he will have enough time to play the game properly and I would rather see him either excel or fail on his own accord than see him float or become an easy early boot due to a lack of time. I say maybe, if we don't find anyone else that is this awesome... |

Aaron is not only a great player but a fantastic host, and he NEEDS to be cast. He always delivers, and if he is applying it means he is gonna give it his all.
Nate's application was weird, nothing too special but not HORRIBLE. He is from Fenton though, which gives him brownie points, still though there's something odd about him.

I agree about Aaron. He's a great host, although him being a great player in this game highly depends on how much time he'll have available to dedicate to it.

Aaron and I had a talk today about the kind of time commitment that iS18 was, so considering he decided to apply anyway, I'd hope he feels that it won't be an issue. I think that really would be my only concern with casting him. Otherwise, Aaron is amazing. He's still hosting SC9 right now, and we're already talking SC10 plans, so I don't think he intends to let grad school slow him down. I'd be thrilled to finally see him play.
Brenda seems fun. I don't know if I have strong feelings about Dave or Nate, but Nate's application certainly doesn't give me much.
