You know Sandy puts so much work into this series, as does Rob, Kirin, and Adrian. I have so much respect for all 4 of them because do they get paid for this? Nope. They do it cuz it's fun and they're nice enough to let us be apart it... Just saying, they probably dont have to have an alumni section. Sandy could basically just host games without alumni. Mind u it wouldn't be as fun probably but yeah. Something to think about. But what do I know, I'm a newbie from Mexico/Egypt.

That's really annoying someone said something, really ironic at the same time since I was going on about on call to Sandy last night about how everyone is so good about anonimity and shit.
I'll bring up my point (my newbie point since I'm new at all this) about how we've all been in the game and know how much WORK it is so to have someone from the outside say something is so disheartening and it's like...woah whoever said something, did they even PLAY the game? I feel anyone that properly went in there, killed it and gave it their all wouldn't say anything just out of respect for a game they played themselves :/
Oh and I just realized that I can't look at journals anymore, good going guys (y)

Sorry guys there isn't much I can do. I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place with this situation. Whether the quote I posted here last night has weight and is legit, we won't ever know because the castaway who wrote this in their Journal is being tight-lipped as to where they heard it from / who told them. So yeah, even with this small eyebrow raising comment, I am left with no other choice.
I was quickly reminded last night why I host games to begin with. Last season and this season - it was easy for me to forget because recently Alumni has been a fun and great place to hang out in spare time. But let's face it guys - I host for the players, not for the players who've already played.
Alumni is all a bonus, not a necessity to the series. It's always had a downside like this where one idiot or slip-up will cost everyone. I just cant risk it, even with a small incline that could or could not be.
It also doesn't help we have a castaway who is dating an alumni, alumni with friends in the game all all across the board - just way too many relationships to keep track of and trust in - there's too much at stake and with hosting this game all on my own - no no, I refuse to have this effort and energy wasted.

Honestly Sandy, like it's understandable reasoning and it's like, you were put in a tough spot. I think us here in the alumni, yes it's fun we've all played the series and we're soo excited for how the twists are gonna work and the new cast and all that good stuff, but you know we have to follow some rules ourselves as well, starting with NO giving away info. We're basically here to observe and give our predictions  |

There was no power all day and now I finally checked in to see all of this drama and information leakage...
This sucks, but Sandy made the right call on keeping people out. The game should be protected at all costs. I am now also, as a result, a bit unsure of what I should and should not share with everyone in here. I hope everyone will still keep coming back and be as active as they have been this season, though.
