Sandy, where did you find such a cast? Really. This is unlike ANY cast I've ever played with before. There are over 2 REAL ACTUAL LIVE girls playing. There are two people over 35. THERE IS A 14 YEAR OLD. It's not bad by means, it's just... different. Not the crowd I'm used to playing with. Halp me wut am I doingggg.
Thoughts on these peeps:
Aaron: Threatened by him for sure. I know he's been around for a while, and he's a great player. Although he hasn't done so great in the games I've seen him in recently... might be because he's busy hosting his series and his real life commitments? I don't really trust him, and honestly the sooner he goes the better for me.
Animal: I like him! We talked briefly last night about our mutual Eevee love (srsly best pokemon, don't even try to dispute). I prefer to call him by his real name Cody. Maybe I could work with him idk?
B.K.: #ican't. He's 14. Granted, I think I was TWELVE when I started playing ORG's, but STILL. I'm not looking down on him for being young, but what the fuck do I talk to him about? We're at such different stages in our lives. He's super eager to playing and it shows. I call him Burger King oops.
Brenda: We had a fine chat, no strong feelings either way.
Brookie: She cray. Apparently she was meowing on Skype instead of talking. Then she threw out these gems:
"I QUIT! (5 seconds later) Keep me in you guys, I send you nudes."
"If we run out of food on the island, you guys can feed off my breast milk."
"Jedda, I want to lick your clit."
She can't be real. She just can't. Probably the first boot. Bai.
Fei: My Fei-lisha. My Black Swan. I love her. We know each other outside the game, and we're always the #tokenminorities on trips. She's so funny, I love her "no fucks given" attitude, and I love her dancing and singing and just everything about her. We instantly started talking when we realized we were both in the cast, and I think we have an unspoken agreement to at least work with each other, even if it's not an official alliance. I definitely want to see her go farrrr in the game with me. She and I like a lot of the same people, so it's pretty fab. I'm kinda worried about her relationship with Joe and Aaron - I honestly can't remember if she likes them or not.
Greg: Wut a hottie.
Honey: THE GODS HAVE SPOKEN, AND HONEY IS REAL. I really thought she'd be an alias, but nope. Honey DELIVERED in tonight's skype session. She was SO FUCKING FUNNY. She was sassy. She was everything a gay boy could dream for and more. I think she'll actually be not so great in challenges and strategies, but her personality might carry her. I'd be willing to bet my jockstrap that she'll win Viewer's Favorite for a while. BUT SHE DESERVES IT. HONEY, LADIES AND GENTS.
Jedda: He's a cutie, ain't he? He's from Australia, so I feel his waking-up-early-to-compete-in-challenges pains. Our first conversation within the first 10 seconds turned to how ~great~ mayonnaise. Which is true, it's the best condiment eva. I'm hoping he stays in the game for a while, and Fei likes him too yay.
Jeffy: He's a funny one. We had a fun short conversation tonight where we talked about Annie (from the musical) having a sugar daddy and I made him call me cute. Great start, doncha think?
Jermaine: I like him too. He knows Drag Race references (holler) and he seemed funny in the Skype tonight. I'm a bit wary of him being a past winner, but that's gonna hurt him more than help him.
Joe: Oh Joe. I've played in one game with him where I voted him out, but I was super upfront about it. We've actually met each other in New York, but we're not super close by any means. I don't think he'll want revenge on me, but I'm keeping mah eyes on him.
Jordan: I haven't talked to him at all so idk. I wish I'd listened more carefully when Bill talked about Bali back when he was playing.
Lexi: OK, this is kinda crazy because I recently made a new friend whose name is Lexy AND she's also a lesbian AND they have the same haircut. So hopefully that's a good sign.
But I haven't talked to her yet oops.
Nax: Like with BK, I'm not sure how to talk to him. It's partly the age difference, I guess. I have a hunch he's not long for the game, but I guess we'll see. He was social in tonight's Skype sesh.
Nicole: I'm a big fan of her! Nic, if you're reading this after the game is over, YOU'RE GORGEOUS, DAHLING. I made an effort to talk to her, and I think it paid off. We had a good conversation going, and she loves cheesecake and I love cheesecake soooo... match made in heaven? I'd like to see her go far pls.
Quanz: I remember him a bit from his season, but I did not realize how young he was. I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but in all honesty I haven't interacted with anyone younger than 18 year old in years. I'M NOT EXAGGERATING. I have no idea how he'll do.
Ricky: So Ricky. Apparently he had some huge incident with Bill a couple of years back, and he brought it up to me to talk through it. Frankly, I don't really care because 1) that was years ago, and 2) I'm playing a game with him. But I think he was trying hard to show that he's making an effort to talk and possibly work with me, possibly because he's worried Bill said negative things about him to me. He's clearly a player, and a
loud one at that. I could easily see people either loving him or hating him. I'm super on the fence about him from a game POV, so we'll see.
Tabatha: She's also real wtf. Apparently, it looks like she and Nax know each from before? Can't see her making it far in this group, but idk.
Woods: I haven't talked to him >_>
Zack: Love me some Zack. We get along well, I think, and he has great taste in Big Brother players <333 Really hoping to work with him down the line.
So, this is the first game I've played that primarily uses Skype. Which I'm adjusting to, but during the group Skype voice convo tonight, I was all:
Ricky dominated most of the conversation - gurlfriend's got a mouth on her. It eventually splintered into some individual conversations, mostly with Ricky and Nicole, and a voice chat with Fei and Zack, which I enjoyed. I am ~exhausted~ socially. Tribes soon pls.
Challenge seems to be on Sunday, but I have a friend visiting this weekend (the one and only lovely Ms. Alicia from Survivor: Chronicles), so we'll see. At least that'll give me time to strategize should I end up on the losing tribe(s). Until then, my plan is to schmooze and get people to like me. SO PRAY FOR ME.
