The Twist and Breaking The System
So, this season seems to have tribes that aren't really tribes, double boots, Redemption, and a heavy focus on challenge prowess. OK. My first reaction wasn't very polite, I'll admit. I was like, Qu'est que fucque? Are you people fucking STUPID? You're TRYING to destroy any hope of a social game?
Fortunately, I came to my senses as my few remaining brain cells engaged. I realized that the social game is actually more important, because you need to maintain a social presence with the WHOLE CAST. Which made me throw up in my mouth, just a little bit, because some of these people make me realize that maybe Mr. Manson had a good thing going there. I mean, any game like this you can't discount everyone. But because you can never be certain who you'll be with tomorrow, or the next day, or the next, you have to do more. You have to engage people you'd rather set on fire and defenestrate.
And then I started talking to Fei. That girl is SHARP! I'd have realized this within a couple hours myself, but she got there first, and I gotta give her props for that.
So, if a group are working together, specifically on challenges, and make sure their performance is pretty much identical, they can ensure that they'll be on the same tribe (or very likely so). That way, if they have to go to TC, they will at least have the numbers to decide who goes home from that tribe.
So, we discussed it. We brought up some names. We have seven people that we agree on (including ourselves). She insisted on 7, and I'm like, "sure, babe, let's set it up so we HAVE TO vote one of our own out. Why not? Such a brilliant plan!" Well, the answer to that is to seed that 7 with three that are loyal to me, so it won't matter. The problem is I only have two right now, which means that Nicole, Ricky and I will have to try to make sure Jedda winds up with us. The moment we break that, though, it will have to be Fei we send to Redemption, though. That girl is frickin' dangerous!
Ricky is on the road until this evening, and Nicole is avoiding contact with people right now - good for her! But tonight, the three of us have some talking to do. Work out how to turn all of this to our favor.
Oh, and I had nothing to say about Aaron yesterday... today, I like him. He's a good, sincere, REAL guy. Even if we share absolutely NOTHING in common!
