I hate Candice. I hope she loses the first RI duel. Galang made the right move in voting her out, considering her schtick has always been to flip on her tribe.

I didnt have very high hopes for this season. But after watching, I am very excited for it.
Aras and Vytas storyline is bound to be entertaining. Golden boy vs recovering junkie.
Hayden being semi invis was great. Not cause I dont like him, but just because they arent using his schtic to gain some viewers.
Rupert being on redemption island already makes me want to scream in excitement.
And I totally agree with Joe. Smart move getting Candice out.

I think Rupert going to Redemption was a smart sacrifice, so Laura can be hidden until the next tribal council.

I don't really care about Rupert, so, I am very happy that he gave up his spot for Laura. Laura proved at least to not be a liability in the challenge (that was all Gervase). So yeah. I'm not a Rupert fan (unlike how I was way back in the day), but I approve of him going to RI for his wife. Give her a shot to play the game.
I also thought it was sort of fitting that she was on the "returning players" tribe (as Jeff kept on calling them) seeing as how she is, in fact, the only loved one to have ever actually made an appearance on the show before.

Anyways... Did anyone else feel Rupert sacrificed more for show than anything else? I feel like he wasn't gonna and then Probst mentioned how heroic he is and he kinda did it? Like because of his reputation and his obsession of being the ultimate hero? I'm glad he did tho because now he can be the first one out. |
