This is the conversation last night that started during the challenge and ended well after. This is Ricky accusing me of giving Woods our grid, and me denying (literally true - I didn't give him our grid. I just talked him around a couple bombs and gave him a free path while Ricky destroyed himself).
[10/6/2013 8:47:10 PM] Ricky: they said you gave them our map [10/6/2013 8:47:21 PM] David Oberholzer: I did what now? [10/6/2013 8:48:09 PM] Ricky: yeah [10/6/2013 8:48:21 PM] David Oberholzer: You mean, a link to the JPG? [10/6/2013 8:52:16 PM] David Oberholzer: Regardless, who am I supposedly helping? [10/6/2013 9:23:37 PM] David Oberholzer: Dude, are you seriuosly telling me you believe I gave them our map? [10/6/2013 9:53:50 PM] David Oberholzer: .... I guess you are telling me that. By your silence. [10/6/2013 9:54:10 PM] Ricky: i just think its funny your saying you didnt show anyone the grid [10/6/2013 9:54:33 PM] David Oberholzer: I posted it in our chat. I didn't give it to ANYBODY else. [10/6/2013 9:55:00 PM] Ricky: woods went around [10/6/2013 9:55:04 PM] Ricky: both of those big areas [10/6/2013 9:55:06 PM] Ricky: literally around [10/6/2013 9:55:42 PM] David Oberholzer: I noticed that. I'm thinking that they must have had doubled-up - chosen the same bomb spots we did. [10/6/2013 9:56:01 PM] David Oberholzer: That or Brookie... but somehow, I dont think so. [10/6/2013 9:56:26 PM] David Oberholzer: Since she wanted to get voted out, it doesn't do her any good to reveal that. [10/6/2013 9:57:00 PM] Ricky: we have 4 votes [10/6/2013 9:57:06 PM] Ricky: i just feel pretty efeated
Once I knew he'd let go of the accusation - and he may or may not believe that I didn't betray him - I then encouraged him. For two reasons: one, I want him to trust me just a LITTLE bit longer, and two, I really don't want him to go down without a fight. I want him to feel he gave it his all. I don't want him to quit or to just give up.
The latter for two reasons. First is all for him - he can be pretty insecure, and I'd like to see him grow as a person, and if I can help do that, great! But also because I need him on the jury owning his own fate, and not blaming me for it. So, yeah, there's some selfish in it. But that's the name of the game, man, and I'm a player.

Joe might be on the hook, but not until after I agree to vote Ricky out, and follow through. Which I'd do, except the numbers are already too unbalanced... unless I can pull him, Jermainey and Jedda into something. I'd hate to lose the capital I've gained with Woods, though, on going into a straight-up fight, and I can't sit next to anybody but Joe or Brenda and feel comfortable with my chances of winning.
A lot going to have to play out by ear for this next one.
Oh, and I'll have a lot to say about the Brookie Quit and all the permutations of strategy that will help to inform my decision come next Tribal. But later tonight. Food, now, then some relax time, away from the THREE games I'm in right now. Yeesh!

This one's boring. And too long. Note to self - do NOT shoot video journals when you can barely keep your eyes open.
