You think all of the women are going to band together?

I just have that gut feeling John. Even though there is a lot of them, they are still out numbered.

Okay, so here is my first really serious post about the season that we have waiting to unfold before us.
First of all, there is just something different about this season. There is a different mood to it already. As excited as I was about Mexico (being on-board more-so than just a regular member of the alumni for the first time ever), the story-teller in me has my excitement for this season trumping it ten-fold. I think this is because I pitched the idea of setting the season in India to Sandy, Rob and Kirin early last season with the idea that India is so culturally and geographically diverse, as well as socio-economically - and diversity is exactly what we got!
This selection process was as organic in nature as it could get. Conversations just before the Mexico final tribal council saw us explore the idea of bringing back deserving players who were robbed just before they could reach their full potential, thus robbing them of a shot at coming back for All-Stars 3. It only grew from there to accommodate previous winners who are great members of the iS family, but came from poor seasons and were likely to be overlooked or underrated as far as winners go.
Then came application time - and thanks to you guys, we had amazing applicants. We have SEVEN female contestants this time. We have players over 30... players under 18... Asians... A mama bear from the red neck of the woods... A player named Woods... A prolific series host... you name it! We have a cast that properly represents the diversity of the location for the season. Sandy made the hard choice of selecting these players with some help from Rob and Kirin and I think the best cast has been assembled for the game ahead. I may not be hosting, but I am thrilled that my suggestion for a season has taken off the way it has thanks to the three maestros at the helm of the series.
As if having a 21 person cast consisting of 7 females, 2 former winners, 2 criminally underrated former players with unfinished business and many ethnicities was not enough - we have some amazing twists coming your way that are going to shake up this game in ways you have never seen. From what I can tell, there are going to be power-shifts; underdog stories; the rise and fall of many big characters and some huge moments this season and I cannot wait for you guys to see the twists we have in-store for the players.
Are you as excited as I am, yet? You should be...

Fei's post was amazing! She broke down what she thought of everyone in a way that I usually hear myself thinking. Hilarious. I also really liked what Lexi had to say about the people she has so far interacted with.
People seem shocked mostly at BK's playing so hard the first night. The girls all seem to warm to Aaron as well, and so far hold him in high regard.

I am officially calling dibs in making the Fei fan club, because I already have some amazing ideas. I just need to get some time and make magic happen.

Tabatha calling the others "young whipper snappers" <3 She is clearly already a ~star~, can't wait until she gets all redneck of one of the other girls. Also, I can't wait to witness a cat-fight, because you can tell the girls will NEVER work together, I would be shocked if that happened.

Little Quanz told me he signed up and just started messaging people to get their Skype credentials so he could start meeting and greeting. Quanz came to play and win!

I think its funny people are jumping on the Fei train after only 1 confessional post. I've played with Fei before and she is quite the intelligent and savvy player but her post reminded me a bit of Cody's confessionals last season only with a little more wit and better grammar. "Omg someone is 48? How do I talk to them??!?11" "Someone is named Animal? and Honey? I can't even...." I had to "lol and wtf" with the dude I know irl who Im going to work with(shocker) hahaha Sorry, she's awesome though. I've had some great talks with her in the past. I myself will wait a little longer before jumping on any fan bandwagons.

Ghosted in on the tribe call with Lexi, Jeffy, Quanz, Ricky and Dave(Nax) for a bit. I told them I was merely there to observe and answered a few general questions.
They seem to be shooting the breeze comfortably. Lexi is very quiet and pipes up occasionally. She types a lot about drug use. Nax is interesting and holds his own with the younger players quite well. Jeffy is still confused by how everything works to an extent. Ricky seems to be leading the conversation, with Quanz also trying to learn a lot about everyone and getting people to keep the conversation flowing. It was pretty awesome to listen to.
For now almost everyone suspects Honey of being an alias... and a lazy one at that. I asked them what they thought would happen with the tribes, without responding to their theories at all. Ricky seems to have figured it out... to an extent, but not quite what we have in store for them *evil grin*
